Description
Uganda Bugisu
90% of the country’s exports is coffee, and some 3 million people depend on it for their survival. This Ugandan coffee is located in the region of Bugisu – in the mountains near Mt. Elgon. The beans are grown near a town called Sipi Falls, which is near Victorian Falls, which is considered to be one of the most breathtaking areas of the world.
Bugisu is part of a co-op initiative that is dedicated to building and supporting Fair Trade to smaller, family-based farms and their communities. The coffee is Organic and Rainforest Alliance Certified as well! A lot of pride and effort has taken to produce this precious Ugandan coffee.
Coffee is packaged in a 12oz bag.
Mimi Marks –
Uganda has to be the best deeply dark rich coffee ever! When grinding the bean I could tell that the smell and color of this bean was exceptional. After brewing, I thought I made it too strong because of the color! What I tasted was a perfect cup of coffee! Love love love Uganda!
